Senior Supervisor – General Insurance Underwriting (FGA) NATIONAL GENERAL INSURANCE CO (P.J.S.C)

Job Description:

- We are seeking a skilled property underwriter to join our team. As a property underwriter, you will be responsible for evaluating, analyzing and underwriting property insurance proposals to assess risk and determine appropriate coverage and premiums. You will work closely with brokers, BDE’s and direct clients to gather necessary U/W information, review survey reports and cladding certifications prepare quotes in line with NGI’s underwriting Guidelines and policies.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

- Review the proposals and obtain the complete U/W information of the risk.

- Decide whether proposal is within the NGI guidelines and U/W policies.

- Prepare the quotation in a way that NGI win the business and the terms quoted are within the company’s underwriting philosophy.

- Coordinate with various branches, brokers and BDE’s to win the business quoted.

- Develop a rapport with various stakeholders (internal/external) to grow the business.

- Maintain accurate underwriting records and documentation.

- Handle enquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.

- To assist the department in any other task as and when required depending on the operational requirements

- Generation of various underwriting reports its analysis and also keep an eye on the conversions of quotes released

- Drive the business growth.
