What You ll Do

* Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising the construction of bridges, viaducts, and associated works
* Review shop drawings, method statements, design proposals, and correspondence related to bridge works
* Coordinate with Parsons design engineers to resolve technical and structural issues
* Manage and monitor inspectors, surveyors, and contractor engineers to ensure performance and adherence to schedule
* Maintain daily site records, progress reports, and as-built documentation
* Convene meetings with contractors, subcontractors, and service authorities to resolve technical issues
* Oversee safety procedures on-site and ensure compliance with project safety goals
* Prepare and review weekly and monthly project progress reports
* Verify completed work against programmed schedules and ensure correctness of as-built drawings
* Support the handover process of structural works to authorities and assist contractors in obtaining clearances

Ideal Profile

* Bachelor s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution
* Minimum 15 years experience in structural design review and supervision of bridges, underpasses, and large-diameter piling works
* Strong knowledge of material submissions, laboratory testing, quality control, and acceptance sampling
* Proficient in project-specific engineering software and computer technology for data management and reporting
* Excellent English communication skills with ability to prepare technical reports and documentation
* RTA approval is an advantage
* Prior experience in supervision of large-scale bridge projects in the UAE or GCC preferred
* Consultancy background in infrastructure and structural engineering highly desirable
