As a Senior Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and excellence of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing a range of testing methodologies across multiple platforms to identify and resolve software issues, thereby ensuring our products meet client requirements and quality standards. Your expertise will be pivotal in mentoring junior team members and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize our software's functionality, performance, and user experience. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases across multiple platforms.
• Identify, record, and thoroughly document software issues and bugs for resolution.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand software functionalities.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers to enhance team capabilities and performance.
• Drive the software quality assurance strategy and associated methodologies in projects.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and practices.
• Conduct regression testing after software updates to verify existing functionalities.
• Monitor and document software performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with the development team to triage and resolve critical issues promptly.
• Stay updated with emerging testing technologies and implement best practices.
• Plan and conduct automated testing to improve software release cycles and efficiencies.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on software quality to stakeholders and management.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in software quality assurance or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in using automated testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, or equivalent.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development processes for software projects.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively under pressing deadlines.
