Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Product Vision and Strategy:
    Serve as the primary owner of the product roadmap, vision, and strategy for your assigned product or product line.
    Work closely with senior product managers, executives, and other key stakeholders to understand business objectives and customer needs.
    Translate strategic goals into a clear, compelling, and actionable product backlog.
  • Agile Team Leadership:
    Lead and mentor a cross-functional Agile team (Scrum or Kanban) by providing clear direction and setting priorities.
    Be the go-to person for the development team, clarifying requirements, answering questions, and removing any roadblocks to ensure a smooth development process.
    Facilitate key Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews, to ensure the team is focused on delivering maximum business value.
  • Product Backlog Management:
    Take full ownership of the product backlog, ensuring it is well-defined, prioritized, and transparent to all stakeholders.
    Write detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria that are "ready for development."
    Utilize prioritization techniques (e.g., MoSCoW, Impact vs. Effort) to make data-driven decisions on what features to build and in what order.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    Act as the main point of contact between the development team and business stakeholders, managing expectations and communicating progress, risks, and changes effectively.
    Gather and synthesize feedback from customers, users, and internal teams to continuously improve the product.
    Present product demos and progress updates to stakeholders to showcase value delivered in each sprint.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience:
    Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a product-focused role, with at least 3 years as a Product Owner in an Agile environment.
    Proven track record of successfully delivering complex digital products or services from concept to launch.
    Experience in the telecommunications or consumer electronics retail industry is highly preferred.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills:
    Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (Jira, Confluence).
    Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics to inform product decisions.
    Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to prioritization.
  • Soft Skills:
    Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and inspire a team.
    A proactive, hands-on, and results-oriented mindset.
    Strong stakeholder management and conflict-resolution abilities.
    Customer-centric focus with a passion for building user-friendly and valuable products.
  • Certifications:
    Certifications such as Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) are highly desirable.
