Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Orchestrate and optimize plant operations, ensuring peak efficiency and adherence to stringent production schedules, driving down operational costs.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and unwavering commitment to quality standards.
- Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with company objectives, including budget management and capital expenditure oversight.
- Proactively identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and environmental standards, safeguarding the plant's operational integrity.
- Champion and implement lean manufacturing principles, driving process optimization and eliminating waste, leading to enhanced productivity.
- Oversee maintenance and engineering functions, ensuring equipment reliability and maximizing uptime, minimizing downtime.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and internal departments, ensuring seamless operations.
- Drive a data-driven approach, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions.
- Spearhead initiatives related to process improvements, automation, and technology upgrades to enhance productivity and competitiveness.
- Manage and control plant budget, including cost analysis, variance analysis, and cost reduction initiatives, optimizing resource allocation.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field) is essential; a Master's degree is highly preferred.
- Possess relevant certifications like PMP, Six Sigma, or similar, demonstrating commitment to process improvement and project management.
- Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in plant management, with a proven track record of success in a manufacturing environment.
- Extensive experience within the [Industry] sector is required, demonstrating industry-specific knowledge and expertise.
- Proven experience in managing large teams, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop employees at all levels.
