Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for preparation, verification, and timely dispatch of export shipping documents including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, BL instructions, Certificate of Origin, and other statutory or customer-required documents; coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, clearing agents, and internal teams to ensure accuracy and alignment with shipment schedules; verify documentation as per customer contracts, Incoterms, and LC requirements (where applicable); maintain shipment trackers and documentation records as per SOPs; manage and resolve shipping-related documentation issues and customer inquiries to prevent demurrage, detention, and port storage charges; ensure compliance with export regulations and internal procedures; support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance documentation accuracy, turnaround time, and risk mitigation.
Desired Candidate Profile
4–6 years of hands-on experience in export shipping documentation, preferably in manufacturing or industrial exports; strong working knowledge of international shipping documents, Incoterms, and basic LC terms; proven attention to detail with the ability to work under tight timelines and handle multiple shipments simultaneously; experience coordinating with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and clearing agents; good communication and follow-up skills; proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel; bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field preferred.
