Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as primary legal advisor for all legal matters in the day-to-day business across GLP, KSA, NWA, and Turkey
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and legal compliance
  • Advise business stakeholders during contract negotiations and provide practical risk assessments and mitigation strategies
  • Prepare, oversee, and maintain board and shareholder resolutions, meeting minutes, and governance documentation for all regional entities
  • Coordinate with governmental authorities and external counsel for registration of legal documents (e.g., powers of attorney, corporate filings)
  • Monitor and ensure the timely renewal of operational and trade licenses; liaise with local PROs and ensure adherence to regulatory obligations
  • Oversee preparation and issuance of legal correspondence to customs and customers (e.g., product declarations, logo usage, NOC letters), ensuring legal accuracy
  • Provide legal guidance on supplier and customer onboarding processes, including KYC reviews and compliance checks
  • Advise after-sales and service teams on legal aspects of third-party contracts, customer claims, and dispute resolution
  • Support logistics and operations teams on legal matters related to customs clearance, trade portals, and agreements with service providers
  • Review and advise on marketing-related agreements, including digital campaigns, print media, and agency services, focusing on IP protection and regulatory compliance
  • Conduct and maintain legal research, track relevant legislative developments, and update internal knowledge resources
  • Maintain and enhance the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system by ensuring regular updates and legal document control
  • Coordinate with and manage external legal counsel for specialized local legal matters and dispute resolution
  • Engage cross-functionally with senior business stakeholders to ensure legal guidance supports strategic goals and operational realities

Qualifications

  • Master s degree in Law (or equivalent)
  • 5 years experience in working as a legal counsel.
  • Proficiency in using computer software, such as Google, GoogleDrive, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign CLM, and legal databases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is preferred but not mandatory
  • Complete discretion and ability to work with confidential information.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member

Desired Candidate Profile

Master s degree in Law (or equivalent)

5 years experience in working as a legal counsel.

Proficiency in using computer software, such as Google, GoogleDrive, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign CLM, and legal databases.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is preferred but not mandatory

Complete discretion and ability to work with confidential information.
