Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process from concept to execution, ensuring creative vision aligns with client needs and budgetary constraints.
  • Develop detailed design presentations and mood boards that effectively communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of design elements within the structural framework.
  • Conduct site visits to assess spaces, gather measurements, and evaluate design feasibility, while also ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Select and source materials, furnishings, and finishes that enhance the overall aesthetic while adhering to sustainability practices.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing deadlines and resources to deliver outstanding results on time.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and professional growth.
  • Prepare and oversee project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and transparency throughout the design process.
  • Utilize advanced design software and tools to create 3D renderings and visualizations that bring concepts to life.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative design practices to continuously elevate project outcomes.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture from an accredited institution, with advanced degrees preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years (UAE) of professional experience in interior Design
  • Experience in commercial or residential with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices to ensure compliance and innovation.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite for effective project execution.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate complex ideas clearly to clients and teams.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing project requirements in a fast-paced environment.
  • A keen eye for detail and aesthetics, combining creativity with practicality in all design solutions.
  • Flexibility to work in diverse cultural settings, with proficiency in English and additional languages considered an asset.
