Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior HSE Engineer for our civil construction projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law, Dubai Municipality safety regulations, and international HSE standards, along with excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement HSE policies and procedures.
  • Conduct site safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, Dubai Municipality regulations, and international HSE standards.
  • Deliver safety inductions, training sessions, and toolbox talks.
  • Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation.
  • Support emergency preparedness, including fire safety drills and first aid readiness.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture across projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Certifications:

  • NEBOSH IGC
  • Fire Safety & First Aid (Dubai Civil Defence approved)
  • NVQ Level 6 / OTHM Level 6–7 / EduQual Level 7 Diploma in OHS
  • ISO 45001 Lead Auditor
  • IOSH Managing Safely (advantage)

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws and international best practices.
  • Familiarity with Dubai Municipality safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to identify hazards, assess and mitigate risks, and implement corrective measures.
  • Experience in mentoring junior HSE staff and promoting a proactive safety culture.
