Job description

We are looking for a senior frontend developer who will be responsible for the UI/UX
developments of our web platform.
The candidate will work in a fast-paced startup environment with a chance to
experience every aspect of the product lifecycle and grow with the business.

Your responsibilities

• Design and implement modern UI/UX solutions for our web platform
• Work together with backend developers & product managers
• Ensure cross-browser requirements & standards are met
• Find performance bottlenecks & improvements
• Take initiative on applying industry best practices focusing on business & customer experience
• Manage the existing web platform with a focus on mobile-first responsive design

Your profile

• Proven 4+ years of front-end development with latest tools & technologies
• Strong knowledge on HTML5, CSS3 and modern JS frameworks ( jQuery or AngularJS or React )
• Solid understanding of modern UI/UX principles and ability to implement a consistent product
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser / cross-device compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Experience with CSS preprocessors
• Knowledge in source control systems & ability to work within a team of multiple stakeholders
• Experience in design tools such as Photoshop or Gimp is a plus
• Familiarity with newsletter design & implementation is a plus
• Knowledge in SEO best practices is a plus
