The Senior Electrical Engineer (Design) plays a crucial role in leading and managing electrical design projects from conception through to completion. This position requires a strong background in electrical engineering principles, as well as extensive experience in designing complex electrical systems for a variety of applications, including commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical design projects from inception to completion.
• Develop comprehensive electrical designs, including schematics and layout plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with other engineering systems.
• Ensure that all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Conduct technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for new projects.
• Oversee and provide guidance to junior engineers during design processes.
• Prepare detailed project reports, documentation, and presentations for stakeholders.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to obtain equipment and services quotes.
• Review and approve design modifications and revisions throughout project phases.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide expert insights and recommendations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.
• Resolve technical challenges promptly to ensure project milestones are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical design engineering.
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MATLAB.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong leadership skills with the capability to mentor junior engineers.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively.
