Roles & Responsibilities
(China Export to Dubai Experience Preferred – Covering 6 Key Categories)
Location: Dubai, UAE
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced building materials sales professional to lead and grow our sales operations in Dubai and across the UAE. Our product range spans nine key categories imported from China, targeting high-demand segments of the construction market:
1- Interior Finishing & Decoration Materials – ceramic tiles, sanitary ware, wood/composite flooring, ceiling & decorative panels
2- Doors & Windows Systems – aluminum doors/windows, curtain walls, fire-rated/security doors
3- Structural & Framing Materials – steel structures, formwork & scaffolding, aluminum/stainless steel profiles
4- Waterproofing, Thermal Insulation & Energy-Saving Materials – waterproof membranes & coatings, insulation materials, Low-E/double-glazed glass
5- Electrical & Plumbing Systems – PVC/PE/PPR pipes & fittings, copper pipes, electrical cables, LED lighting products
6- Niche Smart Building Products – quartz stone countertops, artificial/cultured stone, lightweight partition panels, smart home building materials
7. Cement and cement products (white cement, mortar, cement pressure plate, etc.)
8. Sound insulation materials (sound-absorbing cotton, polyester fiber, etc.)
9. PVC additives (plasticizers, fillers, light stabilizers/ultraviolet absorbers, etc.)
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in building materials sales, an established client network in the UAE construction industry, and ideally experience in exporting building materials from China to Dubai.
Develop and implement annual and monthly sales plans to meet revenue and growth targets
Identify, approach, and manage strong relationships with wholesalers, contractors, architects, and real estate developers
Follow up on major commercial, residential, and government projects to secure orders and contracts
Maintain close supplier relationships with Chinese manufacturers to ensure product quality, competitive pricing, and on-time delivery
Conduct market research, monitor competitor activities, and analyze client needs to refine sales strategies
Manage logistics processes including customs clearance, warehousing, and final delivery of materials
Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry networking events to drive business opportunities
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience in building materials sales within the UAE
- Experience exporting building materials from China to Dubai/UAE is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of UAE/Middle East construction industry and procurement processes
- Familiarity with at least 2–3 of the six building materials categories listed
- Fluent in English; Mandarin Chinese preferred; Arabic is a plus
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with key decision-makers
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, project site visits, and supplier engagements
- Valid UAE driving license preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: Competitive (depending on experience)
- Commission: Attractive, uncapped commission based on sales performance
- Annual Bonus: Performance-based

Preferred Qualifications
- Established client network of contractors, developers, and wholesalers in the UAE construction market
- Familiarity with UAE building materials import certifications (e.g., ESMA, DEWA)
- Proven experience in trade fair participation and building sales channels
