Job description

We are looking for a senior backend developer who will be responsible from our web platforms and systems.
The candidate will work in a fast-paced startup environment with a chance to
experience every aspect of the technical architecture and help scale the business.

Your responsibilities

• Convert business requirements into clean and maintainable code structures
• Work together with frontend developers & product managers
• Find performance bottlenecks & improvements on various parts of the overall architecture
• Take initiative on applying industry best practices focusing on efficiency and reliability
• Help maintain and improve existing cloud infrastructure

Your profile

• Proven 4+ years of backend experience on PHP with well-known MVC frameworks (Symfony / Yii / Laravel)
• Strong knowledge on relational database design and implementation
• Solid understanding of Elasticsearch as a marketplace search engine
• Experience on page and data caching. Varnish / Redis / Memcache knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge on unix systems and docker. DevOps experience in cloud environments is a plus
• Comfortable with source control systems & ability to work within a team of multiple stakeholders
• Experience in modern JS frameworks and architecture is a big plus
