Job description: About Us: We are a well-established SME company operating in Dubai for over 20 years with a dynamic team. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team and manage our Dubai operations efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and accounts in compliance with UAE accounting standards. Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Handle VAT compliance, filing, and reporting as per UAE VAT laws. Manage corporate tax compliance and liaise with relevant authorities. Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts. Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Maintain general ledger entries and ensure accuracy of financial records. Liaise with external auditors, banks, and government authorities as needed. Assist management with financial planning, analysis, and decision-making. Implement and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures. Lead a team including branches . Supervise and guide junior accounting staff. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is a plus. Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the UAE. Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax laws and compliance requirements. Proficiency in accounting software (Tally). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality. Excellent communication skills in English.
