Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including month-end closings.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for compliance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis activities.
• Review and reconcile balance sheets, bank statements, and ledgers regularly.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
• Provide guidance and support to junior accountants and finance staff members.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls documentation.
• Perform complex financial analysis and deliver actionable insights to management.
• Liaise with other departments to align financial objectives with organization goals.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience in a senior role.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software, particularly ERP systems and Excel.
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards is essential.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects with accuracy and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions.
