Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Access Control: Regulate and monitor the entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles to prevent unauthorized access.
  • Surveillance: Monitor and operate CCTV cameras and other surveillance systems to watch for suspicious behavior.
  • Patrolling: Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrols of the premises to inspect for security breaches, safety hazards, and unusual activity.
  • Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents. Take appropriate action, which may include contacting law enforcement or emergency services, and documenting the event.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed daily reports on all security-related activities, incidents, and observations.
  • Safety: Enforce safety and security policies, and assist in fire and safety drills.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience: Previous experience as a security guard or in a related field (e.g., military or law enforcement).
  • Skills: Strong observational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills in English are a must. The ability to write clear and concise reports is also important.
  • Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and able to perform duties that may require standing for long periods, walking, and responding to emergencies.
  • Licensing: A valid Security Industry Regulatory Agency (SIRA) license in the UAE is highly desirable or may be a mandatory requirement.
