Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Primary Duties
Deliver high-quality, tailored Science classes incorporating innovative teaching methods that foster intellectual curiosity and a love of learning.
Plan and execute creative, inclusive lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum, effectively addressing the diverse needs of all learners through differentiated instruction.
Establish a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, collaboration, and a genuine passion for learning.
Work closely with colleagues, parents, and the broader school community to ensure each learner's holistic development and academic success.
Additional Duties
Participate actively in parent-teacher meetings and school events.
Contribute to curriculum development initiatives and share best practices with colleagues.
Requirements
Bachelor of Education OR Bachelor's degree in Science subject, plus PGCE.
UK QTS or appropriate Teaching License.
Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in a classroom setting.
Proven ability to design and implement engaging lessons.
Expertise in adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
Demonstrated success in creating an inclusive classroom environment.
Strong understanding of literacy and mathematical skill development within a Secondary setting.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and a collaborative spirit.
Dedication to community engagement and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
