We are currently seeking an outstanding Secondary English Teacher who is committed to inspiring students and fostering a culture of inquiry, creativity, and academic excellence.
Role Summary
As a Secondary English Teacher, you will play a key role in shaping students intellectual and personal development through the IB framework. You will design and deliver engaging lessons, encourage independent thought, and contribute to a collaborative school culture that values innovation and holistic learning.
Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, student-focused English lessons aligned with IB philosophy and curriculum standards.

Encourage critical thinking, inquiry, and creativity through a range of teaching strategies and learning experiences.

Adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of students, creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

Integrate technology and modern teaching tools to enrich student engagement and achievement.

Assess student progress through varied methods, ensuring feedback promotes growth and excellence.

Work closely with colleagues on cross-curricular initiatives and contribute to wider school activities.

Communicate regularly with parents and school leaders on student progress and wellbeing.

Engage actively in professional development and contribute to the school s continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile

Education: Bachelor s degree in English or a related field, plus a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent).

Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience, ideally in an IB or international school environment.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of IB approaches to teaching and learning; commitment to inquiry-based education.

Skills: Excellent communication, adaptability, and the ability to inspire and connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
