  • Design and build responsive SAP UI5 applications using NWDS/BAS, deployed on SAP NetWeaver Portal 7.5.
  • Develop custom themes, layouts, and advanced interactions using CSS and JavaScript, ensuring brand consistency and accessibility.
  • Configure and manage SAP Portal content (sites, pages, iView's) and ensure high availability. Integrate OData services and microservices; collaborate with BTP Integration Suite teams.
  • Execute full SDLC activities: design, development, unit testing, deployment, documentation, and production support.
  • Apply OWASP best practices for securing public-facing UI5 applications (CSRF/XSRF, CSP, secure cookies, session/config management).
  • Prepare clear documentation and ensure compliance with privacy and data retention standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 7–12 years in SAP with at least 3 end-to-end implementations.

  • UI Development: Strong in SAP UI5, advanced CSS/JavaScript, and responsive design.

  • SAP Portal: Proven development & deployment experience on SAP NetWeaver Portal 7.5 (Java) using NWDS.

  • SAP BTP: Hands-on experience with Build Work Zone, Integration Suite, and familiarity with BTP Build.

  • Integration: Expertise in OData/microservices integration; secure API consumption via Destinations/Cloud Connector.

  • Security: Working knowledge of OWASP ASVS, SAML2/OAuth2/XSUAA, secure headers, cookies, and dependency management.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and documentation skills.

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
