Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Customer Interaction & Sales • Greet and assist customers visiting the showroom in a professional and friendly manner. • Understand client needs and recommend suitable building materials, tools, and accessories. • Prepare quotations, invoices, and sales orders with accuracy. • Follow up with clients via WhatsApp, phone, or email to close sales and ensure satisfaction. 2. Product Knowledge & Presentation • Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s product range (tools, paints, tiles, lighting, hardware, etc.). • Stay updated on new arrivals, promotions, and technical specifications. • Ensure all products are displayed neatly and priced correctly in the showroom. 3. Contractor & Project Relations • Identify and build relationships with contractors, builders, and renovation companies. • Offer customized supply solutions for ongoing projects. • Coordinate with procurement and logistics to ensure timely delivery to project sites. • Represent Star Crafters professionally during any site visits or external meetings. 4. Coordination & Reporting • Collaborate with the operations and delivery teams to ensure smooth order processing. • Keep daily sales records and update management on performance and client feedback. • Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and showroom stock levels. • Support management in implementing promotional campaigns and client outreach initiatives. 5. Professional Conduct • Maintain a customer-first attitude, with honesty and reliability as core values. • Follow company policies on pricing, discounts, and client communication. • Uphold the image and reputation of Star Crafters as a trusted supplier.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education & Background: • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field. • Previous experience (minimum 2 years) in building materials, hardware tools, or construction supply sales - preferably within the UAE market. Sales & Communication Skills: • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with confidence in dealing with both retail customers and professional contractors. • Skilled in preparing quotations, negotiating pricing, and closing sales deals. • Good command of English; knowledge of Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu is an advantage. • Ability to handle WhatsApp and phone-based client communication efficiently and professionally. Technical & Product Knowledge: • Familiarity with building materials, tools, paints, tiles, lighting, and related construction products. • Understanding of project-based supply needs for villas, fit-out works, or renovation sites. • Capability to identify and meet the requirements of contractors, builders, and interior companies. Personal Qualities: • Proactive, energetic, and results-oriented. • Strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and reliability in all assigned tasks. • Positive attitude with a customer-first mindset. • Willingness to learn and grow with a fast-expanding company. Other Requirements: • UAE driving license is a plus. • Available to work full-time in Majan, Dubai.
