Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new ecommerce clients through proactive outreach and relationship building.
  • Drive offline sales growth by identifying and acquiring new retail partners for the e-commerce platform, focusing on strategic locations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within partner stores, ensuring seamless integration and maximizing sales opportunities.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and competitor strategies, informing sales tactics and product positioning in the offline space.
  • Manage and optimize the in-store presence of e-commerce products, including merchandising, displays, and promotional activities, to boost visibility and sales.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with retail partners, including pricing, margins, and promotional agreements, to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Train and mentor retail staff on e-commerce product knowledge, sales techniques, and platform navigation to ensure effective customer engagement.
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase conversion rates and revenue.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop targeted offline campaigns and promotions, aligning with overall e-commerce strategy.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely product availability in partner stores, preventing stockouts and maximizing sales.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to management, providing insights into performance, challenges, and future opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within the online marketplace landscape.
  • Manage and nurture a pipeline of leads, qualifying prospects and guiding them through the sales cycle to closure.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with a focus on maximizing profitability and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Conduct in-depth needs analysis and present customized ecommerce solutions to address client challenges and objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and adapt sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with overall business strategies and product offerings.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management, tracking progress against key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to foster repeat business and generate referrals.
  • Utilize CRM software and other sales tools effectively to manage leads, track progress, and improve sales efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in sales and business principles.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 3 years of experience in offline sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building successful partnerships.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape and retail industry dynamics, including market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive analysis.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
