About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to oversee a high-profile project for a renowned developer in the UAE. This position is integral to the successful delivery of critical infrastructure, road networks, bridges, and utilities integration. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in structural, civil, and utilities projects and the ability to ensure compliance with RTA requirements and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management and Supervision:
• Oversee the development of road networks, access ramps, and related infrastructure.
• Supervise the construction and quality control of bridges and other key structural components.
• Ensure that all work is executed in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
  
• Utilities and Infrastructure Integration:
• Lead the integration of utilities infrastructure, ensuring seamless urban connectivity.
• Collaborate with RTA and relevant authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to address challenges and optimize solutions.
  
• Stakeholder Coordination:
• Serve as the primary on-site liaison between the contractor, developer, and other stakeholders.
• Provide progress updates and technical reports to the project management team.
• Address and resolve any technical issues promptly to minimize project disruptions.
  
• Quality Assurance and Compliance:
• Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards, specifications, and best practices.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify progress and compliance with designs.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master s degree preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of experience in structural, civil, and utilities projects, with at least 5 years in Dubai.
• Proven track record of managing high-profile infrastructure projects.
• Comprehensive knowledge of RTA regulations and requirements.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
• Professional accreditation such as PE, CEng, or equivalent is highly desirable.
