Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide IT support to end-users via phone, email, or in person across the region.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and system security by implementing safety measures and schedules.
  • Collaborate with local teams to understand specific IT needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, standards, and procedures at a regional level.
  • Coordinate with the central IT team for higher-level support and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and ensure appropriate asset management.
  • Provide training and support on the use of IT resources and applications.
  • Monitor system performance metrics and take proactive actions to ensure optimal performance.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for all support activities and incidents.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and continuously enhance technical skills.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in an IT support role with regional responsibilities is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
  • Experience with network and server management, including active directory and VOIP.
  • Capacity to work independently and manage multiple issues in a fast-paced environment.
