Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain containerized applications on OpenShift.

  • Optimize and automate infrastructure and deployment processes.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application deployments and system operations.

  • Monitor and enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of applications.

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline workflows.

  • Implement security best practices and compliance requirements within OpenShift environments.

  • Provide post-deployment support, including monitoring, logging, and incident resolution.

Experience Requirements

  • Strong experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes.

  • Hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipeline creation and automation (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, Tekton, etc.).

  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Groovy.

  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.).

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Podman).

  • Experience in monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, OpenTelemetry).

  • Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system administration in a DevOps environment.

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.

  • Red Hat OpenShift certification (e.g., Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration).

  • Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).

  • Experience with serverless and cloud-native architectures.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
