A leading industrial bakery in Antelias is seeking a Research & Development Manager to lead recipe innovation and product development across multiple departments, including bakery, pastry, viennoiserie, and specialty items.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and continuous improvement of products across bakery, pastry, and viennoiserie lines


Formulate new recipes aligned with customer preferences, seasonal trends, and production capabilities


Optimize use of improvers, ingredients, and baking technologies for consistency and quality


Collaborate with production teams to test and implement new items at scale


Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards (ISO, HACCP, etc.)


Conduct trials, shelf-life tests, and cost-benefit evaluations


Introduce innovative methods for enhancing taste, texture, shelf-life, and visual appeal


Troubleshoot and resolve technical production issues related to recipes or processes


Qualifications:

Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline


Proven experience in R&D within the food industry, preferably in bakery and pastry production


Solid understanding of dough technology, ingredient functionality, improvers, and fillings


Knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control systems, and manufacturing best practices


Passion for innovation, creativity, and excellence in product design


Strong leadership and decision-making skills


Ability to work independently and coordinate across departments
