Job Description

STS Aviation Services is growing fast in the Middle East and we are looking for talented Quality Engineers to join our team in Dubai. You will be part of a major aircraft upgrade program for a premium flag carrier, working in a dynamic, high-energy environment where your contributions will make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in acquiring and maintaining required regulatory approvals in the region (GCAA CAR-145, EASA Part-145)
  • Support in obtaining and maintaining customer approvals
  • Perform internal and supplier audits as per the approved audit plan
  • Review, develop, and maintain QMS documents including expositions, procedures, work instructions, forms, and registers
  • Conduct regulatory and procedural training sessions
  • Perform Certifying Staff assessments and authorisations
  • Liaise with aviation authorities and customers during audits and engagements
  • Investigate process and product quality issues for improvement and reporting purposes
  • Drive process improvement initiatives across the business
  • Carry out administrative functions required by the QMS

Skills And Experience

  • BS Technical Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or related discipline, or formal aviation training
  • Aircraft Maintenance Engineer s License preferred but not required
  • Quality Auditor training and/or certification from a recognised institution
  • Understanding of international quality standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9110
  • Minimum two years experience as a Quality Auditor or Quality Engineer in aviation
  • Minimum two years experience in an aviation maintenance environment
  • Working knowledge of GCAA, EASA, or FAA regulations (GCAA CAR-145, EASA Part-145, FAR-145) and Human Factors principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
