Roles & Responsibilities
Job summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist for one of the leading healthcare providers in the UAE.
The role focuses on accreditation readiness, regulatory compliance (DHA, JCI, ACHSI, etc.), and continuous quality improvement across multiple facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on accreditation and compliance matters, interpret and operationalize requirements, and provide guidance and support to staff at all levels of the organization.
- Oversee the accreditation process, including mock surveys and continuous readiness rounds, ensuring ongoing compliance with standards set by accrediting bodies.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and other documents to ensure ongoing compliance and lead, coordinate, and conduct internal audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to regulatory and accrediting body requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure that the best practices are followed and all regulatory and accreditation requirements are met, and corrective actions and monitoring plans are developed to sustain improvements over time, especially following audits or surveys.
- Verify and ensure timely reporting at all times as per regulatory agencies, accrediting bodies, and organizational requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor Degree in Healthcare, Health Information Management, Business or related field.
- Master Degree in Healthcare studies or related field.
- +5 years of experience in the Healthcare quality field as Quality Assurance Specialist or relevant roles.
- +2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or facilitating interdisciplinary improvement teams in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Ability to provide leadership in accreditation and compliance matters, including providing training, education, and support to staff at all levels of the organization.
- Expertise in managing the accreditation process for healthcare facilities, including knowledge of the requirements and standards set by accrediting bodies, and experience in guiding organizations through the accreditation process.
- Strong understanding of clinical practices, procedures, and healthcare delivery systems is essential.
