Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of residential and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to maintain high tenant satisfaction.
- Manage property budgets, including forecasting expenses and monitoring financial performance to optimize profitability.
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, collaborating with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and quality service.
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Prepare and maintain accurate property records, including leases, tenant communications, and financial reports.
- Market and lease available properties, implementing effective strategies to attract and retain quality tenants.
- Enforce lease agreements and handle tenant disputes, ensuring a fair and thorough process for all parties involved.
- Stay updated on industry trends and local real estate markets to make informed decisions regarding property management.
- Develop and implement property management policies and procedures to streamline operations and enhance tenant experiences.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred to provide a solid foundation for property management.
- A minimum of 3 years of property management experience, showcasing a proven track record of successful property oversight.
- Real Estate License or Property Management Certification is essential to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Experience in both residential and commercial property management is highly valued, offering a versatile skill set.
- Preference for candidates with local market knowledge to effectively navigate and understand community needs.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language proficiency can enhance communication with diverse tenant populations.
- Strong technical skills in property management software to streamline operations and maintain accurate records.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills are crucial for building relationships with tenants, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Highly organized with excellent time management abilities to handle multiple properties and tasks efficiently.
