Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all MEP and Civil aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to design specifications, budget, and schedule.
  • Lead and coordinate MEP and Civil project teams, including subcontractors and vendors, to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient execution.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking progress, and proactively addressing potential delays or issues.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to project plans and regulations.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting for all MEP and Civil elements.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and other technical documentation related to MEP and Civil systems.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks associated with MEP and Civil works, ensuring minimal impact on project outcomes.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and resolve project-related challenges.
  • Ensure all MEP and Civil work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations to senior management.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hold a relevant professional certification, such as PMP or a similar project management credential.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in managing MEP and Civil projects, with a focus on construction.
  • Exhibit strong proficiency in project management software and tools, including MS Project, AutoCAD, and relevant BIM software.
  • Display a proven track record of successfully delivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Show excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Possess strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to motivate and guide project teams.
