Roles & Responsibilities

Minimum 10 years in UAE

Experience in Contracting/Construction industry

  • Lead and coordinate civil engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Develop detailed project plans that outline scope, resources, and milestones, facilitating effective communication among stakeholders.
  • Manage site operations, conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve design and construction issues proactively.
  • Prepare and submit regular project status reports to senior management, highlighting progress and potential risks.
  • Oversee procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment to maintain project schedules.
  • Implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks throughout the lifecycle.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports for accountability.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather feedback, address concerns, and maintain alignment on project objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and sustainability practices in all civil engineering activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, with a strong foundation in structural and geotechnical principles.
  • Professional certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent, demonstrating managerial expertise.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in civil project management, on Villa &Building Projects.
  • Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders across various sectors.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, showcasing strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and CAD tools for design and planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights for project improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with proficiency in additional languages preferred for international projects.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, capable of adapting to changing project requirements and environments.
  • Physical ability to conduct site visits and inspections, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards in all circumstances.
