Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations during assigned shifts to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
- Lead, coach, and motivate production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor workflow, allocate resources, and adjust staffing as needed to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and food safety standards throughout the shift.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Conduct shift handovers, communicate key information, and maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, and logistics teams to coordinate activities and resolve challenges.
- Implement process improvements to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing development opportunities for team members.
- Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives as required.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards (GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000) and workplace safety regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or food production environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- B.Sc. Degree in Food Engineering, Food Processing, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams in a fast-paced, high-volume production setting.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and resolve conflicts.
- Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and drive operational efficiency.
- Flexibility to work full-time, on-site, and adapt to changing shift schedules as needed.
- Proficient in using production management software and MS Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to upholding company values and promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Applicants preferred to be from: 10th of Ramadan City, Obour City, Shrouk, Future City, or along the Ring Road from the direction of El Salam or El Marg.
