Production Planner AL TAYER GROUP LLC (Ventures division)

Job Purpose:

To prepare Production work programs as per the guidelines provided by the Planning Manager and monitor the progress of Production against the plan to ensure its completion within the specified time frame.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare the work programs specifying time required to complete each process of Production such as material procurement mobilization, installation, manpower requirement etc.
• Prepare master Production schedule and plans during tender and program to the Planning
• Monitor closely each process of the Production in co-ordination with the Planning Manager to ensure that the plan is being followed properly and the work is proceeding as per the programme. Prepare reports on progress and causes of programme/ progress variations.
• Attend monthly review meetings, prepare and submit report to management as required. Also review monthly progress report for all the Production based on site visit and production progress review.
• Prepare Production progress report for the perusal of the management highlighting the achievement against program and in case of a delay investigate the cause and suggest corrective action to redeem the situation
• Co-ordination with Design Department and Procurement department to manage timely submissions and material lead times ensuring smooth Production progress
• Tracking of long lead materials both from purchase department and subcontractors.
• Providing monthly progress update to the respective QS to help in preparing monthly progress/ variation invoices
• Prepare labor monitoring reports for joinery department on budget vs actual for each Production and to reports deviation on labor cost.
