Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Vision
- Define and champion the product vision and strategy for new and existing products, ensuring it aligns with Axiom's overall business objectives and market positioning.
- Conduct extensive market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, understand customer needs and pain points, and stay ahead of market trends in the telecommunications and consumer electronics industry.
- Develop and maintain a compelling product roadmap that outlines the product's evolution, key features, and development priorities.
2. Product Lifecycle Management
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and conceptualization to development, launch, and post-launch optimization.
- Translate customer requirements and business goals into detailed product specifications and user stories for development teams.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and operations to ensure seamless execution and delivery.
3. Go-to-Market Strategy
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new products and features, collaborating with marketing and sales teams to create effective messaging, positioning, and promotional campaigns.
- Train sales and customer service teams on new products, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge needed to engage with customers.
- Analyze product performance metrics (KPIs), such as sales figures, user engagement, and customer feedback, to inform future product decisions and measure success.
4. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Build consensus and manage expectations across various departments by clearly communicating product strategy, rationale, and progress.
- Act as the voice of the customer within the organization, advocating for features and improvements that address genuine user needs.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Experience:
Minimum of [e.g., 5-7] years of experience in product management, preferably within the telecommunications, consumer electronics, or retail sectors.
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle. - Skills:
Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Solid understanding of the telecommunications industry, including mobile devices, network services, and consumer trends.
Proficiency with product management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Jira, Trello).
