Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Insights:
    Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from various sources, including sales figures, user feedback, and market research, to identify key trends and patterns.
    Conduct in-depth analyses to evaluate the performance of products and features, using metrics such as conversion rates, user engagement, and customer retention.
    Utilize statistical techniques and data visualization tools to present complex findings in a clear, compelling, and easy-to-understand manner for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
    Perform regular market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats within the telecommunications and consumer electronics retail landscape.
    Stay informed about new product releases, pricing strategies, and marketing initiatives of competitors to ensure Axiom's products remain competitive.
  • Product Lifecycle Support:
    Support the product development process from ideation to launch by providing data-backed recommendations on feature prioritization and product enhancements.
    Assist in creating user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and conducting A/B tests to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of new features.
    Monitor product performance post-launch and report on key KPIs to assess success and inform future iterations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    Collaborate with product managers, marketing, and sales teams to align product analytics with business goals.
    Act as a trusted resource, providing data-driven answers to business questions and guiding strategic decisions.
    Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide a real-time view of product health and performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Business, Economics, Statistics, or Computer Science.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a Product Analyst, Data Analyst, or Business Analyst role, preferably within the retail or telecommunications industry.
  • Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis is a must.
    Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
    Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and product analytics platforms (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
    A detail-oriented mindset with a passion for understanding consumer behavior and market dynamics.
    Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
