Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Alghanim International is expanding its procurement team for upcoming infrastructure and bridge projects in the UAE. We are currently hiring experienced Procurement Officers with a solid background in construction materials, subcontracting, and vendor coordination.

  • Source, negotiate, and procure materials, services, and subcontractors specific to infrastructure and bridge works.
  • Review technical specifications and ensure material compliance with project requirements.
  • Prepare and issue RFQs, compare bids, and raise purchase orders in line with procurement plans.
  • Liaise with engineering, planning, and site teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage supplier relationships, price agreements, and delivery schedules.
  • Coordinate with logistics and stores for material tracking and inventory alignment.
  • Maintain procurement documentation and supplier databases.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in construction procurement, specifically in infrastructure and bridge projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendor markets, and procurement workflows.
  • UAE residency is mandatory.
  • Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP).
  • Strong negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.
