We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to be based in the UAE with our Technology practice. This is a brilliant opportunity for you to make your mark within the world of everything Enterprise Tech.
CLIENT
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships effectively, demonstrating a commitment to high-quality client service.
- Proactively identify client needs and develop strategic recommendations to achieve their communication goals.
- Regularly communicate with clients to provide project updates, seek feedback, and address any concerns.
- Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and freelancers to deliver various project components.
- Build and develop solid media contacts, write media plans, pitch informed stories and finding relevant news hooks to meet client KPI s.
- Demonstrate strong writing skills across different media/communication methods, all to a very high standard, demonstrating an understanding of the differences in style, tone and content.
- Demonstrate a strong comprehension of web and social analytics and express informed opinions on a client s social presence.
- Responsible for ensuring the day-to-day PR activity is in line with the short and long-term goals of the plan agreed with the client.
- Oversee and contribute to account administration e.g. contact reports and weekly reports
- Participate in internal creative idea generation sessions across all agency sectors and apply creative thinking to all aspects of your work.
- Good presentation skills and the ability to present and articulate tactical ideas and status updates in client meetings.
- Demonstrate a strong comprehension of what is possible (and required) with third-party and Burson-owned data and intelligence products, and express informed opinions on a client s press, digital and social presence. Develop proficiency in articulating the value/use cases for Burson data and intelligence tools
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop visually engaging reports and presentations to communicate data-driven insights effectively. Assist senior team members in creating data-driven stories for content marketing projects.
- Strong understanding of administrative and financial functions of account handling and demonstrate awareness of client budgetary implications.
- Understand commercial aspects of managing client accounts and support senior team on making accounts profitable.
- Proactively research and identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and help with the preparation of proposals, visuals, research and presentations.
- Be aware and demonstrate an understanding of Burson s offers and services and Global network and WPP.
- Ensure completion of timesheets weekly on a weekly basis.
- Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, proactively seeking guidance and support from senior colleagues.
- Mentor interns, support senior staff, and promote Burson at recruitment events.
- Consider Burson values and think about how you actively demonstrate these in your role
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills, ensuring clear and concise interactions with team members and clients.
- Stay on top of industry news and trends in your sector, sharing insights with teams and clients.
- Build trust and respect within the team.
- Enhance your understanding and promote the wider Burson offerings, services, and global network.
- Impeccable attention to detail; take ownership of tasks and work with initiative.
- Create compelling content ideas that resonate with clients, driven by a passion for storytelling
- Ability to flag key trends and insights, conduct basic social media audits, and express informed opinions on a client s social media presence.
- Collaborate with your Line Manager to identify relevant learning opportunities and create an individualised learning journey.
- Actively participate in L&D sessions and proactively apply acquired knowledge in daily work.
- Stay informed and educated on AI training; explore how AI can be utilized in your role, adhering to WPP guidelines and best practices.
