Roles & Responsibilities
Your Main Responsibilities
Strategic PR Planning and Execution
- Support the Corporate PR Manager in developing and executing the local PR Action Plan for Watches and Fine Jewelry.
- Manage and track the PR budget in alignment with the international plan, ensuring maximum impact.
- Leverage major annual launches like Watches and Wonders to generate exceptional media visibility for CHANEL s High Jewelry collections.
- Assist in crafting engaging stories using press releases, interviews, photos, and video content to bring CHANEL s creativity to life.
- Write press communiqu s for boutique openings and special events across the region.
- Proactively build and nurture relationships with key media outlets, ensuring outstanding editorial placements and consistent brand messaging.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on media coverage, validating results and identifying new opportunities for exposure.
- Assist in organizing press trips and coordinating logistics for both local and international events and launches.
- Facilitate shooting requests and collaborate with the fashion PR team on special CHANEL shoots for Watches & Fine Jewelry.
- Forecast and manage press materials needed for each collection and launch, ensuring timely and flawless execution.
- Liaise with CHANEL s Paris headquarters to coordinate press attendance at global events.
- Capitalize on the brand s heritage, craftsmanship, and luxury ensuring these values shine in every story and event.
- Support the PR Manager across all event-related activities for the Watches, Fine Jewelry, and Fashion divisions.
- Bringing CHANEL s luxury and creativity to life through storytelling and strategic media engagement.
- Building meaningful media connections and championing the brand across multiple channels.
- Orchestrating high-profile events and launches that leave a lasting impression.
- Collaborating with international teams and being part of a globally renowned luxury house.
- Seeing your work translate into powerful brand visibility and business impact.
- A passion for luxury, storytelling, and brand building.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Creativity in developing stories and crafting compelling media narratives.
- Confidence in working across cultures and collaborating with both local and global teams.
- Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2 3 years of PR experience, ideally within the luxury sector and specifically with Watches or Fine Jewelry.
- In-depth understanding of the Middle East media landscape and PR networks.
- Fluent in English; Arabic and/or French is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in managing budgets and analyzing media reports.
- Based in Dubai Design District
