Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Planning Manager will oversee the development of structured workflows, staff scheduling systems, and dashboard-driven insights to enable better decision-making across our MRO operations in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and structure the production planning department for streamlined, efficient workflows
• Develop and deliver training programmes on Power BI, workforce analytics, and scheduling tools
• Provide hands-on coaching to ensure knowledge transfer and smooth team transitions
• Oversee workforce planning and roster creation in collaboration with workshop managers
• Supervise customer liaison efforts through the Workforce Planner and resolve escalated issues
• Implement a live digital dashboard showcasing real-time business performance metrics
• Upskill data analysts in Power BI to support dashboard development and analytics
• Analyse operational data to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous process improvements
• Automate reporting systems to enhance data collection and decision-making speed
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve bottlenecks using performance metrics and insights
• Provide senior leadership with regular strategic reports and performance reviews

Skills and Experience

• Aviation industry experience is required
• Proven leadership in workforce/resource planning within technical environments
• Strong Power BI expertise for building dashboards and visualising performance data
• Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and coach planning and analytics teams
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience leading process improvement initiatives and implementing best practices
