Project & Development Services - MENA

Role Purpose

Planner

What this job involves:

We are seeking an experienced Planner to join our dynamic construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely completion of construction projects while optimizing resource allocation and identifying potential risks.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Develop detailed construction schedules using industry-standard software (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.)
  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to establish realistic timelines
  • Maintain and update project schedules throughout construction lifecycle
  • Collaborate with design teams, procurement, and field operations to ensure schedule alignment
  • Track project progress against baseline schedules
  • Identify potential scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

  • Professional certification (PMI-SP, PSP) preferred
  • Experience with Lean Construction principles
  • Knowledge of pull planning and Last Planner System
  • Familiarity with construction cost management
  • Experience with integrated project delivery methods

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • 3-5 years of construction planning experience
  • Experience with commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 (required)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project and Excel
  • Familiarity with BIM software (Navisworks, Revit) preferred
  • Understanding of construction methods and sequencing
  • Knowledge of CPM scheduling principles
