Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

Al Tief Educational Institute, located in Dubai Knowledge Village, is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Physics & Chemistry Teacher to teach students at the IGCSE and AS/A Level. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge in both Physics and Chemistry and the ability to deliver engaging and practical lessons that prepare students for board examinations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Physics and Chemistry for IGCSE and AS/A Level students.

  • Prepare students for both theory and practical examinations.

  • Develop engaging teaching materials and conduct practical experiments.

  • Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and lab work, and provide constructive feedback.

  • Create a positive, interactive, and supportive learning environment.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science department s curriculum and teaching standards.

  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding students progress.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Physics, Chemistry, or Science Education (Master s preferred).

  • Teaching qualification such as PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent.

  • Minimum 2 3 years of experience teaching Physics and Chemistry.

  • Strong knowledge of laboratory practices, safety procedures, and hands-on experiments.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.

  • Ability to use modern teaching tools and technology to enhance lessons.
