Responsibilities

• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and continuous learning activities.
• Supervise and mentor students in co-curricular physics-related clubs and competitions.
• Maintain open and regular communication with students' parents and guardians.
• Stay current with developments in the field of physics and incorporate relevant updates into the curriculum.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Education, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Teaching certification or licensure meeting state regulations for high school educators.
• Proven teaching experience in a high school or equivalent educational setting.
• Strong grasp of fundamental and advanced physics concepts and teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both students and staff.
• Proficiency in using educational technology and innovative teaching tools in the classroom.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for all students.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities within a dynamic educational environment.
