Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Pathologist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing diseases by examining tissues, cell samples, and bodily fluids. Your expertise will help in understanding medical conditions, providing valuable insights that guide treatment plans, and advancing patient care. Responsibilities
  • Examine tissues, cells, and bodily fluids under a microscope to diagnose diseases.
  • Prepare detailed diagnostic reports to support clinical management and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to discuss diagnostic information and treatment strategies.
  • Perform autopsies to determine the cause of death and gather medical evidence.
  • Conduct microscopic examinations to study changes in tissue caused by disease.
  • Research and analyze the findings of laboratory tests to aid in diagnosis.
  • Provide expert consultations to physicians and medical practitioners based on diagnostic findings.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in pathology through continual professional education.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and institutional policies in the lab environment.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for laboratory operations to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new laboratory staff and pathology residents.
  • Participate in clinical research to advance the field of pathology and improve patient care.

Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with residency in pathology or related field.
  • Board certification in pathology from an accredited medical board.
  • Strong analytical skills for accurate and detailed diagnostic evaluations.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex medical information effectively.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and technology used in pathological investigations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team environment.
  • Commitment to continuing education and research to stay current in the field.
