Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff in pastry skills and techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with health standards.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate menu items and service delivery.
  • Ensure timely preparation of pastry items for service periods and special events.
  • Monitor and control environment factors to ensure optimal baking conditions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to bring new ideas to the kitchen.
  • Evaluate customer feedback and adjust recipes and offerings as needed.
  • Adhere to and promote the company's food safety policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification in pastry arts is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and various pastry recipes.
  • Creativity and artistic ability to design visually appealing desserts.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high standards for quality control.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively under pressure and time constraints.
