Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure a flawless finish on various materials.
- Mix paints, stains, and other materials according to specifications, ensuring color accuracy and consistency.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment, demonstrating precision and skill.
- Inspect completed work for quality and adherence to specifications, making necessary touch-ups to achieve perfection.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide expert advice on color selection and techniques.
- Maintain and clean tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition to uphold safety standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of protective gear and proper ventilation techniques.
- Stay updated on the latest painting trends and techniques to continually enhance craftsmanship and service offerings.
- Estimate material requirements and project timelines, assisting in budget management and resource allocation.
- Document work progress and report any issues to supervisors, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 3 years of professional painting experience, with a portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on every project.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
