Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute packaging designs that align with brand identity and appeal to consumers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, production) to understand project needs and ensure designs meet all requirements.
  • Manage design timelines and budgets for multiple projects.
  • Create prototypes and samples for presentations and approvals.
  • Ensure designs are practical, functional, and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and new technologies in packaging design.
  • Prepare final artwork for production, working with manufacturers to ensure quality standards are met.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Education:Bachelor's degree in graphic design, industrial design, or a related field is often required.
  • Technical Skills:Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is essential.
  • Design Skills:Strong creativity, visual design skills, color theory, and typography are crucial.
  • Problem-Solving:Ability to solve design challenges related to functionality, cost, sustainability, and brand representation.
  • Attention to Detail:Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in final artwork.
  • Knowledge:Strong understanding of packaging materials, production methods, and printing processes is vital.
