Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Converts course footprints to serve as templates for current and future training needs and serves as a point of reference for stake holders involved.
  • Generates initial and recurrent course schedules as per the requirements from the Training Team and Third-party training providers to support the training planning process.
  • Tracks and updates the training management system to ensure serviceability and availability of all simulators to accurately capture and allow for seamless planning of ground training.
  • Allocates training resources efficiently to support training needs that include including classrooms, pool facilities, course material and transport requirements to complete training profile in line with compliance and quality standards.
  • Maintains accuracy and compliance of training records, qualification expiries and documentation and creates new records for new joining flight crew and cabin crew.
  • Communicates training schedules with crew members, instructors and external stakeholders and handles queries related to facilities and equipment
  • Monitors training progress and coordinates the completion of corresponding training forms internal and external trainers.
  • Prepares and issues Proficiency Cards as required to all crew members upon successful completion of initial, requalification, and recurrent courses.
  • Reconciles invoices from 3rd party training providers. facilitating the approval workflow for payments to be initiated.
  • Collaborates with GCAA, HR, Flight Ops and In-Flight Operations to ensure timely issuance of mandatory documentation such as initial licenses, trainer certificates and crew specific approvals
  • Tracks company training approvals from the GCAA and ensures renewals are applied for in a timely manner.
  • Collates feedback from crew members and trainers to continually improve the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Assists with the effective replanning of training due to operational disruption.
  • Maintains expert knowledge of Crew Flight Time Limitation (FTL) rules and regulations, ensuring compliance and effective decision making.
  • Assists with any ad-hoc duties assigned to support the operation.
  • Generates reports using Power BI to analyze training requirements against resources available.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High School Diploma
  • Fluent in English (other languages an advantage)
  • Working experience of at least 2 years with airline operations.
  • Working experience in using computerized Crew Training Management System AIMS would be preferable Knowledge and EFOS application would be an advantage
  • Years with qualifications: 3 - 5 years
