Role: Accounts Assistant / Office Assistant (DMCC Experience)
Location: Dubai
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: AED 5,000-6,000 + Benefits
About the Role:
We are seeking an Accountant / Office Assistant (Preferable in recruitment agency), strong accounting skills, and knowledge of DMCC compliance. The ideal candidate should be hands-on with billing, payroll, petty cash management, and office administration while supporting overall business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
•Manage day-to-day accounting activities including billing, invoicing, petty cash, and expense tracking.
• Process monthly payroll accurately and maintain employee records.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and reports for management.
• Oversee DMCC compliance including license renewals, portal updates, and related documentation.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor payments, supplier invoices, and client billing records.
• Support in budgeting, cost control, and financial planning activities.
• Monitor bank transactions, handle deposits, and reconcile accounts.
• Handle VAT filing, record keeping, and audit support when required.
• Assist with HR administration tasks such as offer letters, leave records, and employee onboarding/offboarding paperwork.
• Provide general office support such as preparing reports, coordinating with external vendors, and managing office supplies.
• Liaise with management for day-to-day operational and administrative support.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all finance and office records.
Desired Candidate Profile
•Proven 4-5 years of UAE experience as an Accountant / Office Assistant (Preferable recruitment agency)
• Hands-on experience with billing, payroll, petty cash handling, and office admin tasks.
• Must have prior experience working in a DMCC-licensed company.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and DMCC regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
