Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic interventions to individuals of all ages, with physical, emotional, or mental disabilities, enhancing their ability to perform daily activities. The Occupational Therapist will assess patient needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement activities that improve the patient s skills and capabilities. Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychological, and cognitive abilities.
  • Develop customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and objectives.
  • Implement therapeutic activities to improve patients physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic processes and techniques for daily application.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary for effectiveness.
  • Facilitate activities that enhance coordination, strength, and dexterity in patients.
  • Teach patients adaptive skills and the use of assistive equipment for improved independence.
  • Conduct ergonomic assessments and provide advice on workplace adaptations for improved functionality.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards in therapeutic practices.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior staff and interns within the department.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist is required.
  • Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist in a clinical setting.
  • Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and the ability to apply them effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to develop innovative and personalized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with therapy advancements.
