Mixologist RAFFLES

The Mixologist at Raffles & Fairmont Doha is an expert in the art and science of crafting innovative and exceptional cocktails. This role requires creativity, advanced knowledge of spirits and mixology techniques, and a passion for delivering an outstanding guest experience in a luxury setting. The Mixologist plays a key role in elevating the beverage program and enhancing the overall atmosphere of the bar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and serve unique, high-quality cocktails and beverages that align with the brand s luxury standards and guest preferences.
• Develop new cocktail recipes and seasonal drink menus in collaboration with the Bar Manager.
• Engage guests with expert knowledge about drinks, ingredients, and mixology trends to enhance their experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, ensuring all tools and ingredients are prepared and readily available.
• Train and mentor bar staff on cocktail preparation, presentation, and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
• Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist with ordering supplies to maintain optimal bar operations.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Participate in promotional events and collaborate with marketing teams to highlight the bar s offerings.
• Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and innovative mixology practices through ongoing education.

• Proven experience as a Mixologist or Senior Bartender, preferably in luxury hotel/s and/or resort/s.
• Deep knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, cocktail recipes, and mixology techniques.
• Creativity and passion for crafting innovative drinks.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-focused approach.
• Ability to train, motivate, and lead bar team members.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and perform bar-related tasks.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
