Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed inspections of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex MEP system malfunctions, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop effective installation and maintenance plans tailored to project specifications.
  • Execute preventive maintenance schedules for MEP systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Install and configure HVAC systems, electrical wiring, and plumbing fixtures in accordance with industry standards and client requirements.
  • Assist in the training and supervision of junior technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of MEP systems, including schematics, service reports, and inventory management.
  • Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) software for accurate planning and execution of MEP projects.
  • Respond promptly to service requests and emergency situations, providing efficient and effective solutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure best practices in MEP systems management.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a relevant technical diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing engineering.
  • Hold industry-recognized certifications such as HVAC Technician Certification or Electrical Safety Certification.
  • Have a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in MEP systems installation and maintenance across various settings.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with building codes and regulations specific to the region of work.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is a plus for multi-national projects.
  • Exhibit strong technical skills in diagnosing and repairing MEP systems, with a focus on HVAC and electrical systems.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving abilities, demonstrating a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues.
  • Display a commitment to safety standards and protocols, ensuring a secure working environment for all personnel.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing tasks that require lifting, standing, and working in confined spaces or elevated positions.
  • Showcase strong interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in team environments with diverse professionals.
